1. Return Eligibility

You may return most items purchased from BuildYourRobot within 30 days of delivery, provided they meet the following conditions: - The item is unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. - All accessories, manuals, and included components are present. - The item has not been soldered to, modified, or integrated into a project. Non-returnable items: Custom-order products, opened software licenses, and items marked as "Final Sale" cannot be returned.

2. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return: 1. Log in to your BuildYourRobot account and navigate to your order history. 2. Select the item(s) you wish to return and provide a reason. 3. You will receive a return authorization and shipping instructions via email. Alternatively, you can contact us at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return.

3. Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer, unless the return is due to a defective product or an error on our part. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit. For defective or incorrect items, we will provide a prepaid return label.

4. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund within 5–10 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. - Full refund: Item is returned in original condition within 30 days. - Partial refund: Item shows signs of use or is missing packaging/accessories. - No refund: Item is damaged, modified, or returned after 30 days. Shipping costs from the original order are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

5. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different product, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order.

6. Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs. For items with manufacturing defects discovered after use, we evaluate on a case-by-case basis and may offer a replacement, repair, or store credit.

7. International Returns

International customers are responsible for return shipping costs and any customs fees associated with the return. Refunds for international orders will be processed in the original currency and may take additional time due to international banking processing.
