By accessing or using the BuildYourRobot website and services ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our Platform.
2. Account Registration
To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
3. Products & Orders
All products listed on the Platform are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse orders, or discontinue products at any time.
Pricing: Prices are displayed in multiple currencies and include applicable markups. Prices may change without notice, but orders placed before a price change will be honored at the original price.
Order Confirmation: An order is confirmed only when you receive an email confirmation from us. We reserve the right to cancel orders if there are pricing errors, stock issues, or suspected fraud.
4. Payment
We accept payment via Stripe (credit/debit cards) and other payment methods as displayed at checkout. All payments are processed securely through PCI-compliant payment processors. You agree that all payment information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method.
5. Shipping & Delivery
We ship to 140+ countries worldwide. Shipping times and costs vary by destination and shipping method selected. Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed and may be affected by customs processing, weather, or carrier delays.
Customs & Duties: International orders may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the buyer. BuildYourRobot is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and design — is the property of BuildYourRobot or its licensors and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
7. User Content
If you submit content to our Platform (robot designs, code, reviews, comments), you grant BuildYourRobot a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with our services. You retain ownership of your content and can delete it at any time.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful data.
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Platform without permission.
- Resell products purchased from BuildYourRobot as your own brand without disclosure.
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Platform.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuildYourRobot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform and all products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Product images are for illustration purposes and may differ slightly from the actual product.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
