Kids Max Rover is a heavy-duty all-terrain tracked robot built for the surfaces most robots quit on — deep powder snow, dry dune sand, thick mud, gravel and long grass. Aggressive spiked tracks bite in where wheels spin, sealed drive housings keep moisture and grit out, and a real Raspberry Pi runs the show, so the RobotiMaker AI agent can drive, patrol, film and adapt on the fly. Designed for makers age 12 and up.
Choose your kit:
• Chassis Kit — All chassis parts: track links, drive cogs, spike inserts, sealed drivetrain shells, top and floor covers, Pi/Pico cases. No electronics. Bring your own Pi, motors, battery and controller. Intermediate · soldering required.
• Builder Kit — Chassis Kit plus 4× brushed drive motors with sealed encoders, camera tilt servo, motor controller, power module with reverse-polarity guard, illuminated master switch, full wiring harness, and every fastener. Drop in any Raspberry Pi (Zero 2 W, 3, 4 or 5) and you're driving. Intermediate · soldering required.
• Complete Kit — Same as Builder, but we do the soldering, the Pi setup and the tuning for you. Open the box, snap on the tracks, scan the QR code, drive across the snow. Beginner · no tools needed.
